History
South Bay Circuits was
founded in 1981 by current owner & CEO, Roland
Satterlee. SBC has
continued to grow into one of the industry's most
diverse independent Printed Circuit Board
Manufacturers with a strong focus on Prototype /
Engineering work and complete Turnkey solutions.
Throughout the 1980's SBC continued to enjoy
successful growth with the addition of manufacturing
space and state of the art process equipment.
The last decade of the century had SBC introducing
Back Panel Capabilities along with the construction
of the Inner Layer manufacturing facility and SBC's
San Jose Corporate Building and the purchase of the
Chandler facility.
Throughout the 1990's, SBC consistently received the
Service Excellence Award, as determined by customer
responses through PC Fab Magazine. By the end of
1996, SBC's continued focus on maintaining quality
was enhanced by successfully completing ISO
Registration for all divisions through Underwriters
Laboratories.
The new millennium started off with SBC opening the
new Corporate Headquarters and Integrated
Technologies Division Facility in Chandler, Arizona.
With the new facility complete, SBC continued to
streamline Manufacturing by consolidating the
Assembly and Back Panel Division from San Jose to
Chandler.
We at South Bay Circuits value our customers and are
proud of the quality products we manufacture and the
customer service we provide. SBC is poised to grow
with the ever changing economy and customer
requirements.
